Friday June 7th from 9:30-11:30, supporters of Elder Abuse Awareness Month will be joining in a walk on the Hugh MacRae Trail behind the Senior Center in Wilmington. Many think that elder abuse means physical restraints, pushing, shoving or otherwise doing bodily harm to an elderly person. Elder abuse can also be:

• Relatives that steal their grandparents medications
• Questionable employees with home health care agencies who steal jewelry or leave them…

GE Retirees Association will meet at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, April 18, at the North Campus of Cape Fear Community College, McKeithan Center, BB&T Auditorium, 4500 Blue Clay Rd., Castle Hayne.  Lunch $7, open to GE retirees and spouses.
