For nearly two years I have written letters, had articles written about the need and written grants about Reach the Beach, Cape Fear Volunteer Center's free home repair program for the residents of Wilmington who are low income, elderly or ill. We have the volunteer labor, this is tried and proven program. It is cost effective. Yet I can not raise the $20,000.00 to pay for the materials. We don't even take any money for administration. We should. I don't know how people think we should pay…
