(Raleigh, N.C.) — The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to partner with the Unique Fun Ones Advocacy Club (UFO) of Kinston, NC to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, March 6, 2010. All proceeds raised will cover travel expenses for Developmentally Disabled Adults to attend the State Advocacy Convention. The goal of the UFO Advocacy Club is to enable, educate, encourage, and empower adults with developmental disabilities. The UFO Advocacy Club Flapjack Fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 5120 New Centre Dr., Wilmington, NC from 8 am to 10 am. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by calling Fran Greiner at (910) 274-6411. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
