DESCRIPTION:Please join the N.C. Coastal Federation along the shores o
 f Stump Sound as we begin work on a project to create oyster habitat a
 nd restore the shoreline along the Morris Landing Clean Water Preserve
 . We are kicking off the project by filling mesh bags with oyster shel
 ls. We will be supplying a bob-cat to do the hard work, but we will st
 ill need many hands to cut, seal and stack the shellbags. Please come 
 out and volunteer for a couple of hours or for the whole day to partic
 ipate in a fun and rewarding activity. Refreshments, supplies and equi
 pment will be provided. This event is suitable for all ages. Pre-regis
