BIKE Carolina Scholarship Program Announces Sponsorship Opportunties and Fundraising Goal!

Local non-profit Communities In Schools of Cape Fear, which serves the
needs of at-risk students in New Hanover and Pender counties, announces a
bicycle tour fundraiser which aims to raise money for college
scholarships.  This fundraiser, dubbed “BIKE Carolina,” (Buying Into
Kids’ Education) involves CISCF staff and partners in a 300+ mile
bicycle tour of the NC Coast.  Through the tour, CISCF hopes to raise
awareness and find community sponsors for these scholarships which will
benefit students in CISCF programming at WIRE Youth Center, Mary Mosley
Performance Learning Center, and New Hanover High School. The program's goal is to raise $5,000 for scholarships for 1st generation college students!  The ride will
