Non-profit Agencies should take a moment and go to VOPhandsonnetwork.org and opt in to the Disney Give a Day Get a Day Program as soon as possible, so that the volunteers in the local Wilmington area will have your opportunity to select from in the coming weeks. Once you opt in and are approved then you can add opportunities that the volunteers can select from. If you are a regular 1800volunteer.org your opportunity has been ported over. But if you would like to add your agency or add more opportunities you can do so now.
Volunteers, you can and should log on to HandsOnNetwork and register if you would like your free day at Disney. You will have to register to volunteer in advance with one of the agencies. The Cape Fear Volunteer Center will authenticate your volunteerism and then you will be mailed your certificate for your Day at Disney while supplies last. Please see official rules at the site.
