Twestival 2010 was a big hit

Hi all. A happy Ty Downing sent a message about Wilmington Twestival 2010, which was Thursday evening at the River Room, 18 S. Water St.

"Twestival" is what you get when Twitter users throw a festival.

It was a wonderful evening. Music by Live Bait, food and drink supplied by area restaurants, and lots of happy people doing some good for a group called Concern Worldwide.

Ty says we raised $2,488, which put is in some pretty elite company worldwide (see page 4 of the list, but the amount raised is a little high for some technical reason).

Thanks to all who came, and watch out for the next event, which no doubt will be even bigger, better and even more fun.
