Azalea Festival Children's Tea

On Sunday, March 27th more than 200 gathered for the 9th annual Azalea Festival Children's Tea. This years event featured a mystery destination, Down the Rabbit Hole, to further enhance the ambiance of this years theme Alice In Wonderland. Belles and Princesses adorned the room, while the children enjoyed crafts, food, entertainment from the cast of Alice in Wonderland, as well as the beautiful surroundings of one of Wilmington's finest establishments. Thanks to all the sponsors, vendors, talent and volunteers that made this years event a sucess. Especially co-chair Brandia Bradshaw! She made the event all it could be. Thank you also to all of our sponsors, including Park Sterling Bank, Learning Express, Dragon Flies, Sweet and Sassy, and many other wonderful sponsors that were responsible for nearly 1/4 of all attendees winning a door prize. This year a few vendors were added to highlight top notch mom and child areas of interest, they were a great addition to the event. And again this year a great fun final focus was provided by Tracey from Cape Fear Catillion. We look forward to next year as we celebrate the 10th aniversary tea March 25th.
