THE CIRCLE

Sweat your prayers, move, free your spirit, find your inner self, explore, play. Join us every other Sunday for a community Improvisational Movement session at Cameron Art Museum. (This is not a class.)

Dates: 9/13, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, 11/22, etc, etc,...

Time: 3PM-4:30PM

Admission: $5, kids are free, (if you can't afford it, come anyway)

"MY RED CHAIR"
New dance piece (work in progress) performed on the 14' tall red chair that is currently located at Cameron Art Museum on the Independence side.

Living in a space governed by the laws of absurdity and surrealism, the chair becomes a symbol of goals unattainable. It represents the desire to fit into society, our helplessness and dependence, occasional grandeur, dreams and aspirations.
This performance is suitable for all ages.

"INERTIA - Remembering the Holocaust" - Performances



Location: Salem College, Drama Workshop

Time: 7PM on all performance days

Time: Saturday, November 21st's performance is followed by special event art exhibit reception/fundraiser/party


Admission by ticket only: $12 for general admission, free for Salem faculty, staff and students.
Reservations can be made beginning November 5 by e-mailing cww@salem.edu or by calling 336-917-5493. Group rates available.
We will issue 10 free tickets per performance for those who are financially burdened.

Other programs and exhibits will be scheduled this fall in support of these performances! Please check Salem’s website for additional program information.
