Barbeque plates consisting of NC-style barbeque, hush puppies, baked beans, cole slaw and a drink for $6.00.    Tickets for this event can be obtained by calling or can be purchased on-site on the day of the event.  10 or more plates to the same location will be delivered if requested.  Proceeds go to local Chapter to help assist disabled Veterans and their families. 

DAV Chapter 11 is conducting its annual fundraiser raffle to support the operations of the Chapter Home and the services it provides for disabled Veterans and their families. Tickets are $20 and only 1000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held on July 13, 2010. You do not need to be present to win. An opportunity to speak with Congressional, Senatorial, and VA Reps regarding medical care, benefits, and any other Veteran-related issues. Service Officers will also be available for any personal claims or issues. Free diabetes and high blood pressure screenings will be available to Veterans. Refreshments will be available.
