Beyond Kubler-Ross: New Perspectives on Death, Dying, and Grief at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter

November 16, 2011 from 1:30pm to 4pm
A two-hour panel discussion (via DVD) that will explore teh most current theoretical perspectives on dying, death, and grief, emphasizing areas where understandings of them have been challenged and developed since teh 1969 publication of Kubler-Ross' epochal work, "On Death and Dying."  The event is free.  However, continuing education credits are available for professionals for $25.  A certificate of attendance will also be available.

Senior Resource Day at First Baptist Activities Center

A free event for seniors. Breakout workshops will include: medicare, veteran's affairs, financial options, safety, social security, long term care, and others.
