Tueday Night from Haiti

Just a quick note from the field. I'm on a laptop, in the orphanage center. Electricity is from a diesel generator. Internet is from satellite.Group purchased TONS of food in Santo Domingo. Box truck and minivan went over roads made from river rock. Kidney jarring. Left at 5:30 am. Arrived at 4:30 pm. Group had to stop at border for over an hour to "negotiate" passage. Everyone exhausted. We, kids and adults unloaded ALL the food after we had lunch/supper - yummiest beans & rice I ever ate.…See More

Haiti - direct connection

All,You may see on the news tonight - Jan 17, (Fox 26, Wect 6) where we are working on a local project to get specific items to the folks in Haiti.Victory Church of Leland is again teaming with Faith Building Missions of Ocean Isle.
