The Good Viking Fund's first project is to build a team connecting children and young adults with disabilities to athletes to participate in the many running events held in the greater Wilmington community throughout the year.

The Lo Tide Run is a 5K/10K Race on a flat USATF certified course through Carolina Beach with a beach finish. All proceeds from the race benefit local cancer patients and their families who are in financial hardship. Live music, food and awards in a beautiful venue make this a favorite race in the southeast.

Laughing For Life is a fundraising effort by local comedians who donate all the proceeds to the 6th Annual Lo Tide Run (5K/10K) event held in Carolina Beach, NC each year. All proceeds from the run go to local cancer patients and their families who are in financial need and often without insurance.
