- The Davis Community offers full service senior living on a 50-acres campus in the Porters Neck area of New Hanover County. Our facilities include Davis Health Care Center, Champions Assisted Living, Physicians Group and coming in 2010, a 20-bed Rehabilitation and Wellness Pavilion. The nonprofit Physicians Group opened August 27, 2009 and is now accepting new patients ages 18-118. Physician care is provided by University Physicians, a service of SEAHEC, affiliated with the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
