Communities In Schools of Cape Fear needs volunteers for the PaSS reading program.  The PaSS Program is a 10-week tutoring and mentoring program directed at students projected not to pas the third grade end of grade exam.  Volunteer tutor two students for 30 minutes, separately, for 30 minutes per week for the ten weeks prior to the end of grade tests.  PaSS is offered in schools in New Hanover and Pender Counties.

Communities In Schools of Cape Fear (CISCF) needs volunteers to help "man" bus stops at Walmart off Market Street and Office Depot on Oleander Drive tax free weekend, August 6th, 7th and 8th.  Volunteers work 2 hour shifts collecting school supplies from customers.  If interested in volunteering please contact Tracy Tisdale at 343-1901 or tracy@ciscapefear.org.  See More
