Annie Looking for projects for a large team for early August tell me your needs

If you had a team of 80 diligent workers for 4-6 hours in early August how would you use them? Could you use them?

Next question. Volunteers are always telling me they want to make a difference, not just stuff an envelope or do something mundane, how can your agency tell me to tell them you will make that happen for them? Our desire is to make the most sucessful matches possible the more you tell me about your needs and how that volunteer can be satisfied at your location the f

Bryan Wiggins I have computers to donate

The organization I work for has twelve computers that we would like to see someone else make good use of. All of them are full tower cases. Seven of them are Pentium CPUs with 24mb of RAM and Windows ME. Five of them are Pentium III CPUs with 512mb of RAM and Windows XP Home. There are decent sized (15 or 17") CRT monitors for most of them, and at least a half dozen PS/2 keyboards and mice. All but one are in good working order, and that one is labeled as needing a new power supply.

Pastor Jay Merritt Tueday Night from Haiti

Just a quick note from the field. I'm on a laptop, in the orphanage center. Electricity is from a diesel generator. Internet is from satellite. Group purchased TONS of food in Santo Domingo. Box truck and minivan went over roads made from river rock. Kidney jarring. Left at 5:30 am. Arrived at 4:30 pm. Group had to stop at border for over an hour to "negotiate" passage. Everyone exhausted. We, kids and adults unloaded ALL the food after we had lunch/supper - yummiest beans & rice I ever ate.… Continue
