In the past week, we passed a milestone here at www.ConscienceOnline.com: We passed the 300-member mark.

This community isn't mine, it's yours. It can only be as successful as you make it.

I hope you will share ideas on how to run effective nonprofit enterprises, and will let people know of volunteer opportunities.

I know from my columns and my Living Local articles that when people read about a worthwhile effort, they'll step forward to help out.

People around here have good hearts. You just have to let them know what you need.
