Giving back in Southeastern North Carolina

All,

I have had many of you contact me regarding prayers for Haiti.
Many of you want to help in other ways, but are not sure how.

My family and I have experience with two mission organizations that I trust.

S.T.E.M. Intl.

Many of you may have a desire to physically serve on the ground in Haiti, as my wife and I do.
We have been quickly deciding how we can get there and what we can do.

We worked with the organization S.T.E.M. for our mission trip to Paraguay and have found that they are sending teams, beginning next month.
Early estimates are between $1500-$2000 per person to go.

New Missions:

This group is on the ground NOW with a mission that has been in existence for 25 years.
My son Nate went there for a mission trip and our family sponsored one of their students.

(from their web page) “Now in Haiti, New Missions has 21 churches, a medical clinic, 21 preschools, 21 elementary schools, a High School, a Bible college, business school, and a Missions Training Center for hosting visiting teams.”

They hit the ground running minutes after the quake hit.

The link above has options for donations for specific things like food or rebuilding.

Their Facebook link is up and active with video and updates:

Please pray and consider going, supporting at team or donating.

His servant,
Pastor Jay
