National Make A Difference Day Set for October 22, 2011

On Saturday, October 22nd, for the 5th time in Southeastern NC, Cape Fear Volunteer Center will partner with businesses, UNCW, Fisherman's Post Magazine, First In Families, The Arthritis Foundation, New Hanover County Schools and Cameron Art Museum to provide volunteering opportunities for the community to "Go MAD: Make A Difference".

Volunteers can sign up to volunteer at the CFVC website for all opportunities. A Big Buddy Fishing Event will again be held at the Fort Fisher Recreation Area 8:30-1:00 that day, as well as a Beach Sweep. Volunteers are also needed for the weekend of October 15th to assist with the adult portion of the Fishing event. Please registrater as soon as possible 910-392-8180.
